In May, 2016, k.g. Guttman performs at the Musée d'art de Joliette as part of the exhibition 'Stéphane Gilot – Le catalogue des futurs'.

The invitation, through the lead artist Stéphane Gilot, questions the role of the museum in contemporary times. How may it become activated as more than a site of collected art works? And how is the role of the museum expanding to address and engage the spectator directly?

K.g. Guttman's work will respond to the museum's collection, through tactics of critical analysis and performative staging.
