This talk that Andrea Stultiens gives at Photo Kathmandu is a public brainstorm on the way history and photographic documentations relate to each other, based on the work of three Ugandan photographers.
Deo Kyakulagira, Musa Katuramu and Elly Rwakoma had very different but overlapping practices that will be a starting point to help understand why their country is looked at the way it is, and how that ‘image’ could be made more diverse by taking their works into account.
The talk takes place from 14.00-14.40
